Ingredients
- 300g ziti or penne pasta
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bottle Sunny Pasta Sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated parmesan (optional)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Cook pasta until al dente, drain and set aside.
- In a pan, heat oil and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add Sunny Pasta Sauce, season, and simmer for 5–10 mins.
- In a bowl, mix cooked pasta with ricotta and half the mozzarella.
- Add the sauce and combine everything well.
- Transfer to a baking dish, top with remaining mozzarella (and parmesan if using).
- Bake for 20–25 mins until bubbly and golden on top.
- Garnish with herbs and serve hot!
