Recipe for 6-7 people


  • 1 whole chicken
  • 2 rougaille Sunny
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic and ginger
  • Dry thym
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 6 potatoes
  • 1 or 2 red chilli
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

1. Cut the potatoes in half and the carrots in slices

2. In a sauté pan, add a little oil, the chopped onion, the garlic and ginger paste, the chilli, the thyme, the spices and the chicken broth. Then add the chicken pieces.

3. Let them brown before turning them over.

4. Then, add the Rougaille de Sunny to the preparation, salt and pepper, adding the sugar cube as well. Place the potatoes and carrots and cover them with water.

5 Let simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes. Then sprinkle with fresh cilantro. You can serve it with rice with salad.
