Ingredients (for 4 servings)

  • 4 slices sandwich bread, toasted or slightly crisped 
  • 4 tbsp Sunny Pasta Sauce 
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar) 
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped 
  • 1 small tomato, diced 
  • 1 small green chili, chopped (optional) 
  • Salt & pepper to taste 
  • 4 tbsp thick set yogurt (dahi) 
  • Fresh mint leaves, chopped 
  • A pinch of roasted cumin powder (optional) 

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread lightly and place on a baking tray. 
  2. Spread Sunny Pasta Sauce over each slice. 
  3. Add a small layer of chopped onions, tomatoes, and chili (if using). 
  4. Top with shredded cheese and season with a little salt and pepper. 
  5. Bake or grill for 5–7 minutes until cheese melts and bubbles. 
  6. Meanwhile, place 1 tbsp of chilled dahi (set yogurt) into a small bowl or directly on each plate. 
  7. Sprinkle yogurt with black pepper, mint, and a pinch of cumin powder for an Indian twist.
  8. Serve hot mini pizzas with the cool, tangy yogurt on the side.
