Ingredients
For the Noodles
- 250 g ribbon noodles / flat noodles / egg noodles
- Salt for boiling
For the Sauce
- ½ cup Sunny Sweet Thai Sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon vinegar or lime juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar or honey
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- ¼ cup hot water
- Chilli flakes to taste
To Garnish
- Fresh coriander
- Extra chilli flakes
Instructions
1. Cook the Noodles
1. Boil noodles in salted water until just soft (al dente).
2. Drain and set aside.
3. Toss lightly with a teaspoon of oil to prevent sticking.
2. Prepare the Sauce
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
3. Add Sunny Sweet Thai Sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce (optional), vinegar, sugar, and chilli flakes.
4. Add hot water to loosen the sauce.
5. Simmer for 1–2 minutes until thick, glossy, and slightly sticky.
3. Combine
1. Add the cooked noodles to the sauce.
2. Toss on medium heat for 1–2 minutes until the noodles fully absorb the sauce.
3. Keep stirring until the noodles turn shiny and well coated.
4. Serve
1. Place the saucy noodles in a bowl.
2. Garnish with fresh coriander and extra chilli flakes.
3. Serve immediately.
