This recipe is a must try! The combination of the sautéed lamb with Mauritian Vegetable Pickles is just TAMAM!
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless lamb
- 1 big oignon, roughly chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 1/2 table spoon oyster sauce
- 1-2 green chili optional, sliced lengthwise
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
- 2 tablespoon oil
- Salt
- Sunny Vegetable Pickles
- Bread
Preparation
- Cut the lamb into small pieces
- Marinate with the garlic and ginger paste for at least 30 mins
- Heat a flat skillet
- Add the chopped lamb
- Cover and cook lamb until soft and adding luke warm water as and when needed
- Add the cooking oil
- Add the soy and oyster sauce and stir well
- Add the chopped onions, let it cook for another 2-4 mins and turn off the flame
- Season with salt and pepper
- Lastly, add the chopped green onions and green chilli
- Add your sautéed lamb in your bread together with the vegetable pickle
