1. Chop the onion, garlic, carrots, celery, mushrooms into small bits. 2. Heat the oil in a pan on medium-high heat and add in the chopped vegetables. Add salt and pepper. 3. Brown the vegetables in the pan for 15 minutes, stirring frequently. 4. Once the vegetables are browned, add in the wine. Cook on medium heat until the wine evaporates. 5. Next, add in the lentils followed by the Pasta Sauce and the rest of the seasoning. Mix together until well combined. 6. Lower the heat, add in the pasta and let cook for another 5 minutes. 7. Serve over your favourite spaghetti or pasta topped with parmesan cheese and some fresh basil leaves.
