Ingredients
For the Noodles
- 250 g noodles (egg noodles, wheat noodles, or ribbon noodles)
- Salt for boiling
For the Chilli Garlic Sauce
- 4 tablespoons Sunny Chilli Sauce with Garlic
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey or sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon chilli flakes (optional, for extra heat)
- ¼ cup hot water (to thin the sauce slightly)
To Garnish
- Spring onions, finely sliced
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Cook the Noodles
1. Boil noodles in salted water according to package instructions.
2. Drain and set aside.
3. Lightly toss with a teaspoon of oil to prevent sticking.
2. Prepare the Chilli Garlic Sauce
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (do not burn).
3. Add Sunny Chilli Sauce with Garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce (optional), vinegar, honey, and chilli flakes.
4. Add a splash of hot water and stir until the sauce becomes smooth and slightly thick.
3. Combine
1. Add the cooked noodles to the sauce.
2. Toss well until all noodles are fully coated and glossy.
4. Serve
1. Transfer noodles to a bowl.
2. Top with sliced spring onions and sesame seeds.
3. Serve immediately.
