Ingredients

For the Chicken Bites

  • 400 g chicken breast, cut into small cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup cornflakes, crushed (or breadcrumbs)
  • Oil for deep frying

For Serving

  • Sunny Sweet Thai Sauce
  • Fresh coriander, chopped
  • Toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

1. Prepare the Chicken

1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
2. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
3. Mix well and set aside.

2. Coat the Chicken

1. Beat the egg in a bowl.
2. Place crushed cornflakes (or breadcrumbs) in another bowl.
3. Dip each chicken piece in the egg, then coat in the crushed cornflakes.
4. Press lightly to ensure the coating sticks.

3. Fry the Chicken

1. Heat oil in a deep pan.
2. Fry the coated chicken pieces on medium heat until golden brown and fully cooked inside.
3. Remove and drain on paper towels.

4. Serve

1. Place the crispy chicken bites on a plate.
2. Sprinkle with chopped coriander and sesame seeds.
3. Serve with a bowl of Sunny Sweet Thai Sauce for dipping.
