Ingredients
Paneer Pakora
- 200 g paneer cut to desired sizes
- ¼ tsp red chilli powder/pepper powder
- ½ tsp garam masala
- Oil for deep frying
Paneer Pakora Batter
- ½ cup besan/gram flour
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- ¼ tsp red chilli powder
- Salt as needed
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- Water as needed
Spicy BBQ Mayo Sauce
- Mayonnaise
- Barbeque sauce
- Chilli flakes
- Paprica
- Lemon juice
- Persil
- Pepper
Instructions
Paneer Pakora Batter
- Cut paneer to desired sizes
- Sprinkle red chilli powder and garam masala
- Toss them well in the bowl. Set this aside
Making paneer pakora
- Heat oil on medium heat
- Add besan, corn starch, salt, red chilli, ginger paste to a bowl
- Pour water just enough to make a thick but free flowing batter
- When oil is hot enough, dip each paneer piece in the batter, swipe off the excess dripping batter
- Gently slide to the hot oil. You can use your fingers.
- Let it rest for 2 min
- Gently keep stirring and flipping to fry evenly until they turn golden
- Drain them in a colander. Sprinkle some garam masala
- Serve paneer pakora hot with Spicy BBQ Mayo sauce
Spicy BBQ Mayo Sauce
- Mix all ingredients together
- Sprinkle some pepper powder on top
