Paneer Pakora

  • 200 g paneer cut to desired sizes
  • ¼ tsp red chilli powder/pepper powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • Oil for deep frying

Paneer Pakora Batter

  • ½ cup besan/gram flour
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • ¼ tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt as needed
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • Water as needed

Spicy BBQ Mayo Sauce

  • Mayonnaise
  • Barbeque sauce
  • Chilli flakes
  • Paprica
  • Lemon juice
  • Persil
  • Pepper

Paneer Pakora Batter

  1. Cut paneer to desired sizes
  2. Sprinkle red chilli powder and garam masala
  3. Toss them well in the bowl. Set this aside

Making paneer pakora

  1. Heat oil on medium heat
  2. Add besan, corn starch, salt, red chilli, ginger paste to a bowl
  3. Pour water just enough to make a thick but free flowing batter
  4. When oil is hot enough, dip each paneer piece in the batter, swipe off the excess dripping batter
  5. Gently slide to the hot oil. You can use your fingers.
  6. Let it rest for 2 min
  7. Gently keep stirring and flipping to fry evenly until they turn golden
  8. Drain them in a colander. Sprinkle some garam masala
  9. Serve paneer pakora hot with Spicy BBQ Mayo sauce

Spicy BBQ Mayo Sauce

  1. Mix all ingredients together
  2. Sprinkle some pepper powder on top
